A photographic exhibition "Culture Matters" in Athens Michael Cacoyannis Foundation

The exhibition CULTURE MATTERS presents images of a journey to 18 monuments/sites of world cultural and natural heritage from 18 different countries of Southeastern Europe that form part of the cultural heritage and are considered of ecumenical value by the Wold Cultural Committee.

CULTURE MATTERS is an initiative of the Austrian Government.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) seeks to encourage the protection and preservation of cultural and natural heritage around the world considered to be of outstanding value to humanity. The Cultural heritage sites presented in the exhibition belong to all people of the region, Europe, world, irrespective of the territory on which they are located.

The exhibiotion will last until 4 March 2011

The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Ambassador of Austria Dr Μichael Linhart.

Photography Exhibition at New York Metropolitan Museum "Stieglitz, Steichen, Strand" until 10th of April 2011

This exhibition features three giants of photography—Alfred Stieglitz (American, 1864–1946), Edward Steichen (American, b. Luxembourg, 1879–1973), and Paul Strand (American, 1890–1976)—whose works are among the Metropolitan's greatest photographic treasures. The diverse and groundbreaking work of these artists will be revealed through a presentation of approximately 115 photographs, drawn entirely from the collection.

An exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the greated living photographer, continues its world tour in Australia. Recording personal moments of the legendary Annie Leibovitz from 1990 to 2005, the exhibited photographs include some of the most powerful portraits of famous people such as Brad Pitt and Mick Jagger.
